Where the pressure was

Architectural Metal Fabricators builds custom metal and glass work for major brands and hotels in Manhattan. Requests arrived by email, then moved through quoting, samples, site visits, fabrication, financing, and closeout. Much of that coordination lived in phone calls, paper notes, and a small group of people.

Why change was needed

The owner wanted to reduce the business's dependence on any one person. Quotes, tasks, and follow-ups needed to be visible to the whole team, with a clear status and owner at every point in the job.

What I proposed and built

I mapped the real workflow with the team, then set up a cloud based operations system for tasks, quotes, records, and automation. I trained the team on the new process. Work is now documented in one place, accountability is visible, and the people carrying the most operational load have more support.
